Slivovitz was born in September 2001 in Naples and ever since the band hasn’t stopped moving, growing, changing shape and direction always in the groove of instrumental music related to ethnically tuned jazz rock. Neurotic, restless and of course striving to shifting during these years, the band has been playing throughout Italy, Hungary, Spain, and Austria.
The strong “live” inpact points out a clear rock ascendant on the rythm section, mitigated by the innate improvising skills of the soloists; all of this melted in complex structures that refer to the purest jazz rock of the early seventies but with ethnic sonorities from mediterranean to the balkanik area.
