The idea of the performance of Serbian ethno jazz pioneers Hazari, together with a guru of former Yugoslavian pop, rock and jazz scene Kornelije Bata Kovac, is based on experimental combination of different elements of modern music, mostly jazz, folk, electro/ambiental and pop. Hazari and Kornelije both have great experience in working with folk and jazz content. This cooperation is directed towards creating a unique musical design of Serbia.
Hazari was founded in 1991 in Nis. The band leader Dragomir Milenković, with more than 100 compositions and a great number of performances in the country and abroad, has established a specific ethno jazz sound of the Balkans.
Kornelije Bata Kovac is a famous composer and keyboard player who has played in most popular pop-rock bands in ex Yugoslavia such as Indeksi and Korni Grupa but also composed music for theatre, movies and TV.
