Serbian bands Ničim izazvan and Marčelo & Napeti Quintet are going to perform at Nišville jazz festival 2015. The performance of Ničim izazvan is scheduled for Friday, August 14, while the show of Marčelo & Napeti Quintet is going to take place at Saturday, August 15.
British singer, songwriter and multiintrumentalist Tammy Payne is going to perform at Nisville ' at Saturdaz, August 15th. Along with her band (Ruth Hammond - keyboards, Neil Smith - guitar, Will Harris – bass and Matt Brown – drums) she'll present an outsanding album "Viva Outsider" (2014, New York, "Ninety & Nine Records") . The new album is a reminder of what a classic song writer Tammy Payne is. Reminiscent of New Chanson ( Rufus Wainwright, Francois Brut ) in their wit and timelessness, the songs evoke the more wistful elements of jazz and blues, to make for a most poetic lounge sound.
Dutch band „Jazz Connection" is going to perform at Nisville 2015, in Saturday, August 15th.
Founded 25 years ago in 'jazzy' hometown Breda, Jazz Connection is moving like a train, swinging and rolling with their Jive & Swing show. They have performed at major festivals and clubs in Holland, toured in Belgium, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Scandinavia, France, Bulgaria and Poland as well as in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The band performed from the start of the band at the Breda Jazz Festival in The Netherlands.
Sotavento Big Band, an Argentine Jazz orchestra formed in Buenos Aires, Argentina 12 years ago is going to perfrorm at Nisville 2015, at Sunday, August 16th. The band shared the stage with numerous professional groups in Argentina and became one of the most active Big Band in the argertinian jazz scene. This year the orchestra performed its first European tour covering Serbia, Bulgaria, Italy, France and Switzerland.
Two real world jazz legend, trumpeter Dusko Gojkovic and pianist Milcho Leviev will perform together for the first time at this year's Nišville on Saturday, August 15, accompanied by the Big Band RTS. Gojkovic and Leviev are without any doubt the most important instrumentalists, and composers, arrangers and the band leaders originating from the Balkans, a sort of exclusivity of this program is the fact that two of them have never been recorded nor played together.
