Roy HargroveRoy Hargrove at Nisville 2010
Roy Hargrove, one of the leading jazz trumpeters and multiple Grammy award winner, is going to be one of the headliners of XXVII International Nisville Jazz Festival (August 12th to 15th 2010). His performance, along with his quintet (Justin Robinson - saxophone, Jonathan Batiste - piano, Ameen Saleem – double bass and Montez Coleman – drums) is officially confirmed.
NisvilleNišville - from local to national importance
At the ending ceremony for year’s project "Best of Serbia" (December 22th 2009 in the hall of the Chamber of Commerce) Nišville Jazz Festival won a special award in the category of brands that reached their local importance and became national brands. This action was organized by Serbian Ministry of Trade and Services, Chamber of Commerce and Serbian newspaper "Economic Review".

100,000 peopleNišville jazz festival visited by 100,000 people
Program of XXVI Nišville Jazz Festival (from 13 to 16 August in the Fortress of Niš) according to estimates of the organizers and journalists, was seen by 100,000 visitors. The program on two main stages (Earth stage and Sky stage) on 4 festival evenings with performances of 27 bands from almost 30 countries, was seen by 20,000 jazz music fans, but during 4 festival evenings in the fortress of Niš there were at least 70 - 80,000 people who were passing by, with the opportunity to see and hear the performances of 20 bands(an a few DJ sets) from Serbia, Bulgaria and Spain in the free program on the Jam stage on “Belgrade gates” in the Fortress.
